The 85 members of NETINVET association attended the second annual meeting, which took place at the Institut de Hostelria y de Turismo de Barcelona the 8th and 9th of April.
Besides the General Assembly (overview of the activities led during the year and priorities to develop for the year to come). The two days have been cadenced by very interesting presentations :
- The CIMALSA (Logistics Centres of Catalonia) presented the Catalan Transport & Logistic sector.
- Segundo González, External expert facilitator from ECVET Team did a very appreciated presentation about ECVET.
These two days were punctuated also with testimonials, workshops in groups to work on future aspects of the network and also to collect the members judgments on NETINVET tools.
The meeting was a highpoint in discovery and enrichment. The aim of the meeting, networking and making new contacts, was successfully met. New relations were built or strengthened and members had the opportunity to learn from each other.
NETINVET originally dealt with the professional training within the international trade. The AFT-IFTIM group joined NETINVET in March 2011 to include the transport and logistics sector. The General Assembly has definitively consolidated the partnership with the AFT IFTIM thanks to the election of Mr Jean-André Lasserre (Director, Institutional Relations and Research) to the vice-presidency of the association.

The working language is English. Participative methods of work will be used as well as specific exercises and case studies.
